Pearl Houzuki, in spite of her more 'pop princess' appearance, is a rapper who speaks bluntly and uses slang terms. Her uniquely-shaped vocal chords can create shockwaves, which can lead to destruction when she sings too loud. Pearl is very expressive and has a little bit of a short temper, jumping from topic to topic with ease, and acting immediately when inspiration for songs hit her in the middle of doing other things. She's playfully sarcastic and a bit full of herself, but she's definitely friendly. She has difficulty sitting still, and often fidgets and walks around during recording sessions.
Her Splatfest choices, lining up with this, tend to be of a more outgoing nature. She can also be a bit odd, like how she mentions that she eats cereal with a fork, and has a pool full of mayonaise.

I see Pearl as a transmasc bisexual sapphic, who uses he/she pronouns. I dunno, something about her, it screams gender fuckery to me. Also, she is absolutely an ADHD queen. I love that little detail about her walking around the studio as she records, she is so cute. I think she imagines herself to be a lot more intimidating than she is! Which is why she threatens Cuttlefish when she thinks he'll hurt Marina.
