Callie Cuttlefish is the more cheerful and excitable of the Squid Sisters, with a fondness for puns! She looks on the bright side of things while providing stage commentary with Marie, but, when left alone, can be prone to overthinking and upsetting herself. She can also be prone to crueler comments when frustrated, though she promises she doesn't mean anything by it. (This trait is particularly notable in the English localization.)
Callie likes outdoor activities, art, food and the roller class of weapons. On the other hand, she is noted as disliking seafood, spinning platforms and the Octarian Flooder machines. She's afraid of heights, ghosts and skateboarding, and is unable to ride a bike or drive.
I headcanon Callie as a bisexual boygirl! (Read: Just like me, for real.) I also see her as being autistic and having ADHD! I think she suffers PTSD after the events of Splatoon 2's story mode, and doesn't like to wear things that cover her eyes afterwords. I also think that, before she was planning to become a pop idol, her plan was to be a fashion designer.
